Mosto Oro extra virgin olive oil is made exclusively from hand-picked Taggiasca olives, an aromatic variety typical of western Liguria. The olives are harvested by hand from autumn to March when fully ripe and immediately cold extracted.
After natural decanting, the oil is bottled unfiltered to preserve its full flavour and characteristic aroma.
The two-phase extraction process ensures that the oil remains rich in polyphenols, giving it a balanced structure, a delicate fragrance and a harmonious flavour.
A mild, elegant olive oil with a delicate, fruity note – ideal for gourmets who do not prefer intense, bitter flavours.
Excellent for:
As a finishing oil for fish dishes (e.g. baked fish, prawns, scampi)
With bresaola, rocket and Parmesan
Over mozzarella or carpaccio (also with raw fish)
