They met in 2011 in Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France.

Butter is a very important ingredient in French cuisine, butter is very important here and is still produced by some producers in the traditional way, in butter churns.

During their training with Paul Bocuse, the Boyz were lucky enough to taste the best French butter. The taste and texture of this butter stuck in their minds to this day and is unique. After several years in the restaurant and hotel business, they realised that there was no butter in Germany or Austria that could evoke these memories and come even close to the taste.

That's why Sue decided to take matters into her own hands and use the best Bavarian products and the best Allgäu barrel butter to create unique taste experiences and make her butter known throughout the country. We help Geren with this, because we are enthusiastic about butter and its variety.

The Butter Boyz take this traditional production process very seriously and therefore only use sour cream barrel butter, as this is the only way for the butter to develop its full flavours. It is kneaded for a long time on wood until it then comes to your table untreated, salted or and also combined with the best ingredients.
