Hans Gerd Kübel introduced the Balik Fillet Tsar Nikolaj in 1984. Since then, it has been an absolute great in the culinary world of smoked salmon. In his opinion, such a delicacy virtually demands a special way of serving it.

 

Hans Gerd Kübel developed the "Parure du Tsar" for the serving procedure. The original serving board from Labrador is reminiscent of the skin of the salmon "Salmon Salar" due to its iridescent granite and was therefore Hans Gerd Kübel's first choice.

We have reissued this serving board in two sizes as a homage to Hans Gerd Kübel for serving.

 

The stone

"Norwegian, blue-grey iridescent granite, a Labrador, a lervikite as a subspecies of a syenite, a feldspar-bearing rock, magma rock, very hard, boundlessly weatherproof and indescribably beautiful."
